Inspection accuracy ④.

Previously, we have used a 300,000 pixel camera with a pixel resolution of 30μm per pixel.

I tried to simulate it.

Now, if you want to detect a larger defect size

For example, suppose you want to detect a defect of 0.5 [mm square],

0.5 [mm square] ÷ 4 [pixel square] = 1 pixel resolution 0.125 [mm] (125 [μm])

FIELD OF VIEW IN X DIRECTION

0.125 [mm/pixel] = X [mm] ÷ 640 [pixels].

X = 80.0 [mm].

FIELD OF VIEW IN Y DIRECTION

0.125 [mm/pixel] = Y [mm] ÷ 480 [pixels].

Y = 60.0 [mm].

This means that objects with a field of view up to 80 × 60 mm in size can be detected.

In this way, "I want to detect defects within a field of view of ●● mm and a corner of ●● mm".

The camera will be selected.

The camera used for the ping pong method at the exhibition was a 300,000 pixel camera, though,

The specifications are as follows, with some safety in mind.

1 pixel resolution: 36μm

Field of view : 24 × 18mm

Minimum detectable size : 0.2 mm square
