Actual operational status in the field

We have a bit of spare time, so we are going to a nearby user for maintenance.
This user has two inspection systems that were set up at the beginning of the company (I was drawing the plans at the time) and are running 24 hours a day. Recently, the software on one of the machines was completely replaced with a "standard FlexInspector" and a "handling software" program that runs on socket communication. The software has been replaced with two programs, "Standard FlexInspector" and "Handling Software," that run on socket communication.

Fortunately for the precision parts, the frame goodness rate was over 90% with 1 frame = 2 cameras x 2 lights x 10 times = 40 imaging & inspections. Almost all of the parts detected as defects were in a state where something was present on the image, and none were considered to be misjudged. It seems that the system does not take into account the variation between lots and continues to use the once-generated good data, and the number of registered good items was over 300. It seems that even if defective products are mistakenly registered at this level, it would have little effect.
The equipment is set up by the on-site visual inspectors and quality control staff. I only occasionally visit the site to take a look.

The quality control manager asked us to deploy to one more unit. This user has four "FlexInspector" units in operation, and we were asked to deploy one more unit. The user had several other inspection systems in place, but they decided to stop using them because the FlexInspector was more effective for final visual inspections.
He also mentioned something like this. We can't be confident in measuring the dimensions of a part of the product or evaluating the area of the product. In fact, there have been leaks on the lines where image sensors are used for inspection. Frankly speaking, it is scary. In this respect, this equipment (equipped with "FlexInspector") gives me peace of mind. He said, "We are also afraid of defective products leaking out. We are also afraid of defective products leaking out, so we cannot sleep with our pillows up high unless we use the "FlexInspector". We are able to sell our products because we know that our customers can use our products with confidence.
