Late to the party...
Our company also welcomed three new hires in April. One is a mid-career hire. One is a mid-career hire, looking ahead to overseas sales. Two are new science graduates. I am having them fill in the blanks with my ideas. Today, I noticed the notebook they are using. I already [...].
About the Image Sensing Expo 2012
We have continued to exhibit at the Sensing & Imaging Technology Expo in June and the International Technical Exhibition of Image Technology and Equipment in December, but we have decided not to participate this time due to the heavy burden of preparing to exhibit at almost the same two exhibitions twice a year. We will continue to exhibit at the International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment in December as we have in the past.
2012 Chubu Pack
Our distributor, Sangen Corporation, will be exhibiting at the Chubu Pack 2012 to be held at Port Messe Nagoya from April 11 to 14. I, Yamada, will be speaking at the seminar that will be held in conjunction [...].
Study Groups" are now available.
We have sent out an e-mail today regarding the study group on automatic visual inspection that we had mentioned in a previous article. This is an unprecedented project to connect manufacturing sites, and we were not sure if there would be enough people who would raise their hands [...].
Inline Demo
I'VE BEEN THINKING CALMLY THAT THERE HAS BEEN A FLURRY OF ACTIVITY RECENTLY, AND FOUND THAT QUITE A FEW "ONSITE INLINE DEMOS" ARE BEING CONDUCTED OR ARE SCHEDULED TO BE CONDUCTED. TWO OF THE HAND-FEED LINE SENSOR DEMO MACHINES ARE OUT OF THE OFFICE. A LARGE ROTATING STAGE IS ALSO OUT OF THE OFFICE. THE FIS + CUSTOM [...] THAT WAS CREATED AHEAD OF THE OTHERS IS NOW OUT.
Most important in automated visual inspection
This much is clear. It must be easy for those who use it in the field! If it is not easy, it cannot be used. If it is not easy to use, there will be no effect. Even an inspection device with low detection capability can be effective if it is easy to use and can detect only the most serious defects [...].
8-MEGAPIXEL CAMERA JAI AM-800GE
As I may have mentioned before, the use of a 5-megapixel camera does not allow the optical resolution of the lens to keep up with the smaller cell size. Therefore, our stance that 5-megapixel cameras are not recommended has not changed much. [...].
A few more thoughts on "study groups."
I THOUGHT SOME MORE ABOUT THE "STUDY SESSION" I WROTE ABOUT YESTERDAY ON A WHIM. SINCE IT IS SURE TO BE AN "EXCHANGE OF INTERNAL INFORMATION," A "STUDY SESSION" ON THE INTERNET, SUCH AS ON A SOCIAL NETWORKING SERVICE, WHERE YOU DON'T KNOW WHO WILL BE WATCHING, IS A NO-NO. ・IF IT IS SOMETHING LIKE "JUST LISTENING TO A SPEAKER," IT IS NOT A FACE [...].
Could we have a "study group?"
COMPUTERS HAVE EVOLVED AT A TREMENDOUS RATE. AS YOU ALL KNOW, COMPUTER GRAPHICS HAS BECOME A VERY COMMON THING. YOU MAY THINK THAT VISUAL INSPECTION USING IMAGE PROCESSING HAS ALSO EVOLVED, BUT... HAS THE "WORKPLACE" CHANGED FROM 10 YEARS AGO [...]?
