To project the sides, the work distance must be very narrow.

If you do so, light will not come around to the top surface,

The sides of the image are bright and the top surface is dark.

 

And the black spots on the sides are quite noticeable,

It looks like it can be inspected.

 

However, the image of the top surface is still dark.

 

When using this type of special optics,

Lighting selection and how much work distance will be

Is the workpiece suitable for inspection?
