1394IIDC CAMERA SUPPORT STATUS

We are working on support for 1394IIDC cameras that can be driven using IEEE1394 ports, which are also found in notebook computers.
Currently
Argo DMK21F04 (B/W VGA)
Argo DFK31AF03 (color XGA,Bayer)
Toshiba Terry CS6910F (Color SXGA,1394b)
Toshiba Terry CSB4000F (CMOS B/W 4 megapixel)
Tuning is underway with the use of
We are preparing a system to correct pixel defects in the CMOS camera on the FI side.
There are still some defects at the driver level, and we have sent requests to LinX and MVTec to investigate them, but they are not fatal and will be fixed soon.
When you use it, you will see that.
1) You don't need a board, so you can use it on a laptop.
2) No need for complicated camera settings (although there are a few)
3) Easy to handle cables
4) Light CPU load
(5) Lower system cost
There are many advantages such as
#There are two methods for 1394 cameras: one is by IIDC (DCAM) and the other is by DirectShow.
#The latter requires the preparation of a device driver for each camera.
The former requires device drivers for each IEEE1394 port, not for each camera.
The former method is easier and we recommend using this method in the future.

This is an effective way to reduce costs as it eliminates the need for image capture board fees. We look forward to working with you.

The problem is that the camera sometimes fails to OPEN, and as long as it is OPEN, it works fine. We are working to clear this problem, so please wait a little longer.
