Visual inspection system with line sensor
This system inspects A4 size products by capturing images with a resolution of 32 µm/pixel.
It acts like an "area camera with a large number of pixels that takes a long time to capture images.
The workpiece is set by hand and inspected in about 7 seconds, and the defective area is displayed on the screen.
The image size is 10000 x 7400, and it takes a little over 3 seconds for image capture and less than 2 seconds for inspection.
We have tried it on a pre-mounted board, and it is quite stable in detecting defects even with about 10 boards.
The depth of field is also surprisingly deep, about 5mm.
It works with 64-bit version of FlexInspector (standard product).
We have not had anyone in the field evaluate the detection capability of the system,
However, it may function as "a board inspection system with a new setup time of a few minutes and an inspection time of 7 seconds.
We will also be able to handle samples brought in on the day of the event,
Please bring several good samples and some NG samples.
However, please note the following
(1) Resolution is 32μm/pixel.
(2) The illumination is omni-directional, so defects such as scratches will not be visible.
3) The height is only about 20mm clearance. Basically, a thin plate is required.
