"We will make it to your specifications"?

Today an acquaintance of mine came by and told me a story about being stuck with "images" at one of their sites.
He said that only 3 of the 15 units were working, and the rest showed no sign of working.
When I talked to them, they seem to be a "custom" manufacturer that "builds to the customer's specifications".
I used to be this type of person myself, but I think you should never go along with this kind of talk.
Experimental reports and specification sheets are just a "picture of a cake". It is unlikely that they will work as they are.
At best, 70% of the time, it will work.
Anyway, you should not buy anything that you cannot "test drive" before you buy it.
That's how "suspicious" you should think the images are.
#Honestly, I don't understand people who say "images are great" ...
FI is no exception.
Depending on the object, it may not be good at all.
That's why we ask for a "test drive".
Customization for us is to fill "10% more".
If it is too far, we are "sorry" from the beginning.
