For the development of the industry

When I spoke with someone from an industry newspaper once, I heard him say that we need to foster SI (system integrators) for the development of the industry.
I agree with him.
However, I don't think the environment is conducive to fostering SI. If things continue as they are, they may become extinct.
I understand this because I am in this position myself,
(1) Experience is necessary to do the job. To have experience, you need work.
(2) Fundamentally, it is difficult to get rid of the work. It doesn't work according to the specifications.
(3) Development requires expensive equipment such as boards and cameras, and initial costs are high.
(4) Basically, it is B2B and requires high credibility or overwhelming product power.
(5) Extensive knowledge is required.
(6) The purpose of the service is to replace "work that can be done by humans," so it can be done "with or without" the service, and it is difficult to obtain high remuneration for it. Especially with the rise of inexpensive "image sensors," it is no longer a good business.
The "image sensor" is no longer a good business, especially with the emergence of inexpensive "image sensors.
Especially in recent years, I don't think that people like to enter the "image inspection" industry because of the existence of other attractive "software industries.
A camera manufacturer's representative once said, "I don't want to work with systems because they are not easy to handle," which reminds me of the words of a camera manufacturer. So everyone just does cameras, lighting, boards, libraries....
If we really want the industry to grow, we should consider SI support measures.
I think it would be a good idea to provide evaluation cameras and development licenses free of charge.
