Inspection equipment with 93% yield

A recently delivered inspection system equipped with FlexInspector has been experiencing a problem with "93% yield in actual operation ". The situation is as follows,
The products that were judged as OK were visually checked, but all of them were good products.
The situation was that all the items that were determined to be OK were good, while the items that were determined to be NG were visually checked and found to be mixed with good items.
The on-site request was for "perfect separation.

I can certainly understand the arguments of those in the field. However, it is not worth talking about if, in an attempt to separate them perfectly, the settings become complicated or judgment becomes loose and defective products are leaked.

FlexInspector's method is a "sorting of good products" method, which mechanically sorts out only those that can be determined to be "good" with certainty.

Items that are judged "OK" are "identical in appearance to good items" and can be shipped as they are.
NG" is "slightly different" and difficult to judge, so the product is visually re-inspected and shipped if there are no problems.

Considering this, "93% yield" is quite excellent because it can certainly reduce inspection man-hours by 93% (although additional setup man-hours are required).

Only those that can be judged mechanically as good are sorted and shipped as they are.
Suspicious items are visually judged.
I think automatic inspections are not possible unless we think in this way.

I hope you understand this....
