5-megapixel camera

With the cooperation of Takenaka System Equipment, we confirmed the connection of a 5-megapixel camera FC5100CL. Currently, this camera is the largest pixel area camera available for FI.

We are trying to inspect ultra-fine patterns (several micrometers) with this camera, but the optical resolution of the lens is not keeping up. It seems that taking a picture of a 2000x2000 pixel area four times with 1000x1000 pixels is optically more advantageous than taking a picture of a 2000x2000 pixel area once with 4 million pixels. It seems to be optically advantageous to capture a 2000x2000 pixel area with four 1000x1000 pixel images. The lens is not suitable for a wide area in detail.

Then, if a camera with a large pixel count is used to capture a large area with the same pixel resolution...effective illumination over a large area...

Large pixel camera, seems surprisingly difficult to use.
