Inspection of plain PCB

Object: Inspection of a plain board about 300mm square
Inspection with 2.0 megapixel GigE camera at 25 fps + 2x optical lens = 2.2?/pixel
Illumination is oblique illumination (xenon strobe)
Image capture & inspection speed is 24 times/second = headway at the frame rate of the camera.
It takes about 15 minutes to inspect the entire area.
For large objects, a "line sensor" option is also available.
However, the optical resolution of the lens is insufficient for the high resolution of 2.2?/pixel.
Therefore, an "area camera + microscope lens" is used.
The inspection time is now shorter than the camera's imaging time.
The processing power of PCs has reached that level.
