Personal impressions of the Image Sensing Exhibition

According to the organizer's announcement, this year's Sensing & Imaging Expo was lower than the previous one. Although the economic recovery may have meant that people were too busy with their work to visit the exhibition, I think the main reasons were the "lack of appeal of the exhibition" and the "stagnation of the industry.
As I mentioned in the exhibitors' seminar, there were no exhibits from so-called "image sensor manufacturers," so there was nothing for "users in the field" to see, and if asked if they would like to come back next time, the answer would be "No." At least, I myself would like to be an exhibitor. At least, before I became an exhibitor, I did not want to come to the show. (Although there were still "image sensor makers" at that time.)
Perhaps the highlight of the show was the establishment of the Japan Industrial Imaging Association (JIIA), which included a large number of seminars. However, looking at its activities, it seems to be an "industry organization for the industry" and not "for users in the field," which is unfortunate. I also find it odd that image sensor manufacturers, who are supposed to be the largest force in the "field," are not members.
#It may be that we were not even approached, but even if we had been, I think we would have run away because we would not be able to say what we want if we create "ties" with them.
As for the "stagnation of the industry," I don't think that the "high cost" and "one-size-fits-all" approach will see much growth compared to image sensor manufacturers who are competing on the basis of "practically one million yen" and "finished products. Since the technological advantage is almost gone, I think it will be very hard for them in the future. However, it is clear that the demand from users remains high or is expanding, and we need to recognize that it is bizarre that the number of visitors to an "industry" exhibition is declining.
Nevertheless, the reasons why I would still exhibit at that show
(1) There should be at least one manufacturer "for the field".
(2) To absorb user needs.
3) It is easy for people to feel the "difference".
(4) It is a semi-annual showcase.
The next exhibition will be held in December. The next show will be held in December.
But before that, we are planning to hold
We are planning to exhibit at the 10th Mechanical Components & Materials Technology Expo
We are planning to exhibit at the booth of Sangen Co.
We look forward to seeing you there as well.

    Thanks for your time.
I didn't find it that appealing either.
It seemed like it was the same kind of exhibit as a few years ago.
I think it was the same as a few years ago.
    Cognex was the biggest booth.
But I didn't see many people there!
FlexInspector had a steady stream of visitors!
I didn't know that before. Maybe it's good to have a new way of looking at things.
    I guess so.
I had a good impression of all the staff except for Ayaneko.

I see that your visit was in my absence. My apologies.
    # "unbroken" may be an overstatement. As usual, there were many people who "went through the motions," and I regret to say that there are still problems with the way we show our products.
This time, we received the cooperation of MJP Corporation and Lingwa Electronics Corporation, both of whom are "FlexInspector devotees" and very enthusiastic. FlexInspector is made possible by the support of these people.

Maybe I'm curious to see it because I know it.
Hmm? Well, it may not be easy to understand the quality just by walking between the booths.
I think it's hard to understand the quality of the exhibition just by walking between the booths. After all

I always saw Ayaneko doing her best to explain to the customers.
