What should imaging inspections be like?

Do you think the introduction of image processing inspection equipment will really eliminate the need for visual inspectors?

Do you think that image processing inspection equipment can make the "last minute decisions" that visual inspectors make? And that too without completely spilling out defective products.

Just as it is difficult for a robot's intelligence to catch up with that of a human, it is difficult for image processing inspection to catch up with visual inspection. It is also incredibly difficult when there is no room for error.

But this industry still says "imaging inspection is great"....

The image processing inspection can only "mechanically" sort out the good products by judging whether the image is the same as that of the good products. Items that cannot be mechanically sorted are left to visual inspectors.

This is the answer I got from thinking about "what imaging inspections should be" every day.
I can't entrust them with a lot of things because they are idiots. The idea is that they should only do clerical work.

This is the subject of the December 7 seminar. We hope that more and more people will realize this, even if only gradually.
