Fear of workforce reductions

Every day, newspapers and other media carry articles about "workforce reductions.
The explanation is that "production volume has dropped," but I have a feeling that in highly automated processes, even if production volume fluctuates, there are not many redundant workers.
If that is the case, then the processes that "relied on manpower" would be the main ones. Then it is the "inspection process.
What I think is "scary" here is when the economy picks up again.
Will it be possible to conduct inspections again using human labor?
Visual inspection may seem simple, but it should not be a job that just anyone can do.
And what will happen if inspections are handled by cheap labor from overseas....
"We just need to install inspection equipment!" I am not so sure about that either.
Inspection equipment is not that easy to start up.
That is why it is still a manpower issue!
I feel that if we don't prepare for an "inspection process that doesn't have to rely on manpower" now, it could be a big bomb.
Frankly speaking, I feel that it would be more profitable for us to run an inspection contracting business using FlexInspector.
We can sort out "good products by anyone's eyes"! Reduced inspection man-hours by 90%!
Something like that.
And supplying the inspection equipment can be done manually.
