10年

Our company, founded in July 1999, celebrates its 10th anniversary.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our users for their guidance and to our affiliates for their cooperation.
Ten years ago was the time when Windows NT was released and the reliability of personal computers was improving. I left my previous job and started my own business. and left my previous job to start my own company. At my previous job, I was doing image processing at the assembler level, so even after moving to PCs, I was still developing my own original products.
The turning point came when a user asked me to develop a system using HALCON. I saw the significant improvement in development efficiency and the flexible and powerful positioning technology, and felt that "the time had come for us to no longer be concerned with our own original products. Later, through an introduction from that user, we became a business partner of Lynx, and we began to accumulate development experience with HALCON.
However, I may have already felt this at that time.
I felt that no matter how good the tools we used and how close we got to the user's requirements (i.e., sensation), there was no "end" in sight, as new defect modes were discovered, new varieties were added, etc. Because we were using such a sophisticated tool as HALCON, we could not say, "It is impossible," and it was even easier to get stuck in the deep end. I found HALCON.
Then I found HALCON's VariationModel function.
I tried it out on a project and was amazed at its detection capability.
It is a method that is also versatile.
We put this together and released FlexInspector. That was more than five years ago.
When we brought it to a trade show, the response gradually grew, and we began to receive a large number of inquiries, which was an invaluable experience. I don't think this would have been possible if we had done custom development.
I myself have learned a lot from FlexInspector, and in fact, most of the sales pitches are "after the fact.
Most of what I talk about in my seminars and other events is based on my experience in the field with FlexInspector. There are problems in this industry that can never be solved by technical theories. We are the only company with FlexInspector in our arsenal that can tackle them head on.
However, we still have a lot of work to do.
We still have a lot of work to do.
I cannot imagine what will happen 10 years from now, but I would like to move forward steadily, step by step.
