The other day, I received a document from a technical information magazine that listed five problems facing the machine vision industry in Japan. One of them was that "there are not enough opportunities to hear the real voices of users.
To be honest, I felt quite uncomfortable here. At least as far as I have heard so far, camera makers, lighting makers, etc. "don't do systems because it takes too much time and effort. That's why most of them are specialized. If they don't do systems, there is no way they can get real feedback from users.
I get a mountain of "real voices from users" from my office...
