The skills I have acquired
I will be 53 years old this year, which means it has been 23 years since I started my own business at the age of 30.
Basically, it is a repetition of doing small themes in a short period of time, and we have gained a variety of experiences.
Up to previous job
- MECHANICAL DESIGN IN 2D CAD.
- DIGITAL I/O CONTROL AND ITS WIRING.
- IMAGE PROCESSING PROGRAMMING IN ASSEMBLER AND C.
After opening
- Start-up procedures. Accounting. For the first few years, I did everything myself, even the closing of accounts.
- CONTROL PROGRAMMING (C LANGUAGE) FOR IMAGE INPUT BOARD.
- Creation of an original image processing library on a PC (Visual C++).
- Programming using the image processing library HALCON (Visual C++).
- Creation of ladder programs to check the operation of image processing equipment.
- ROBOT CONTROL PROGRAMMING (E.G. FANUC). PURCHASE OF ROBOTS FOR EVALUATION.
- Introduced 3D-CAD (SolidWorks). Purchased a stacked 3D printer and a desktop 3D cutting machine.
- The main body of the current mainstay software is Visual C#. Image processing is implemented by calling DLLs in C++.
- IMPLEMENTATION OF HALCON'S DEEP LEARNING CAPABILITIES.
- Work with python to incorporate open source AI.
- Purchased an evaluation unit for the KEYENCE LumiTrax camera. A line sensor version will also be purchased.
- Mostly domestic projects. No improvement in language skills beyond the level of reading technical documents.
- We were shown various manufacturing sites. I cannot talk about them due to confidentiality obligations.
As we went through a trial and error process to see how we could automate the visual inspection process, I was reminded that it was interesting in many ways.
Now I have some idea of the "goal to aim for" and whether I can reach it.
Considering that I have until the age of 60, I only have 7 years left. I am feeling a little impatient.
I feel like I'm doing this until I die...
