Request to camera manufacturers

Until now, the customer for a "camera manufacturer" may have been an equipment manufacturer.
However, in "our way of doing things," the customer is the end user.
We are having trouble because of the large discrepancy between the two.
Basically, any camera interface is fine. Analog or digital, CameraLink or IEEE1394, as long as it can capture images properly, it is fine. The only thing I can say is that "simple" is good.
The key point is "cost" and "delivery time," so that you can get it when you want it.
I would like to have screw holes on the top surface for installation.
DIP switches are easier to use. It is especially hard to use CameraLink, where "setting by communication" is the norm, because "each camera has its own method".
IEEE1394 is easy to use. Settings are standardized. Camera cables (IEEE1394 cables) are available around the corner. Power is already supplied by the camera cable. Can be used with a notebook PC. No capture board required; less CPU load than USB. End-users love it.
I would like you to think about reducing the cost of "standard" cameras rather than thinking about cameras with different connection methods. And at least have a system that can be delivered in two weeks.
Personally, I have high expectations for Toshiba Teli's soon-to-be-released FireDragon series.
