Let machines do what machines can do.

The management philosophy of Mr. Kazuma Tateishi, founder of the first company I worked for when I entered the workforce, "What machines can do should be left to machines, and humans should enjoy more creative work."
At the time, I chanted this over and over again to keep my spirits up.

When I look at the fact that nearly 30 years have passed since then and many people are still working on "leaving what can be done to machines to machines," I am reminded once again that this was an excellent management philosophy.

HOWEVER, WHAT I HAVE BEEN WONDERING LATELY IS WHETHER IT IS OKAY TO "DO EVERYTHING" AND "LEAVE TO MACHINES WHAT MACHINES CAN DO. THERE IS NO NEED TO LEAVE TO MACHINES WHAT IS FAR MORE ECONOMICAL AND RATIONAL TO BE DONE BY PEOPLE. PEOPLE SHOULD COOPERATE WITH MACHINES TO FIND THE BEST ANSWER. ROBOTS AND AI ARE NOT THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING.

I was thinking that Kazuma Tateishi had already foreseen the "Optimized Society" and "Autonomous Society". His foresight is brilliant.
