WE HAVE A WORKPIECE THAT REQUIRES THIS TYPE OF LIGHTING. AFTER TESTING VARIOUS METHODS, WE HAVE DEVISED A WAY TO ILLUMINATE THE WORKPIECE WITH LEDS FROM MULTIPLE DIRECTIONS AND CONTROL THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE LEDS FOR EACH UNIT TO OBTAIN A NATURAL IMAGE SIMILAR TO ROOM LIGHT, BUT THE STRUCTURE IS COMPLICATED AND IT TAKES TIME AND EFFORT TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS. DUE TO THE SPECIAL SHAPE OF THE WORKPIECE, THE LUMINANCE IN THE CENTER OF THE DOME ALONE IS WEAK, SO A COMBINATION WITH COAXIAL EPI-ILLUMINATION WAS NECESSARY. SINCE THE STRUCTURE IS SIMPLER THAN OUR METHOD, WE WOULD LIKE TO TRY IT ONCE. HOWEVER, IF THE WORK DISTANCE IS SMALL, IT CANNOT BE USED IF THE DOME STRUCTURE INTERFERES WITH THE WORK DISTANCE.
