Gear Inspection Robot Patented!

We received a patent for our "Gear Inspection Robot" which was exhibited at the Kansai Mechanical Components and Materials Technology Expo in October 2016.

IF THE POSITIONAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CAMERA, LIGHTING, AND OBJECT IS THE SAME, THE SAME IMAGE CAN BE CAPTURED. IF THE SAME IMAGE AS A GOOD IMAGE CAN BE CAPTURED, IT IS JUDGED AS OK.

In the gear inspection robot, the rotating axis of the gear is held by a 6-axis robot, which changes its posture while turning it in the same posture to inspect whether it produces the same image.

Each tooth can be inspected significantly faster than a person can inspect it.
