WEAKNESSES OF AI

Analyze images taken by a digital camera of industrial products to determine whether they are good or bad in terms of appearance.
I have been working for 25 years in the popular "AI" type of work.

FROM THAT STANDPOINT, AI'S GREATEST WEAKNESS IS...

I thought it was just a matter of "replacing people" after all.

We need to go beyond "Why don't you just have a person do it without going to the trouble and expense of an AI?
It's great that you can make decisions like a person. So? We need to go beyond this.

Keep making decisions 24 hours a day
Can make decisions faster than others, etc.

WITHOUT SOME "BEYOND HUMAN" PART, WITHOUT THE INEVITABILITY OF USING AI, COMMERCIALIZATION WILL BE TOUGH.

Wasted investment
Wasted effort of the engineers involved
I don't like that kind of waste (although waste may be necessary)
