Machine Vision Industry Trends

I have been watching the number of advance registrations for company seminars at the Image Sensing Expo with great interest.
I feel that it is a remarkable indication of the current state of the machine vision industry.
It is very similar to the feeling we are getting from various users.
(1) Although smart cameras are being released one after another, they are not attracting as much attention in the market as the manufacturers would like.
2) "Easy to make!" also no longer has appeal.
3) The power of the major players is declining. I think the number of applications will still increase in the future...
(4) Everyone is still struggling with "automatic visual inspection.
In general, the market seems to be saying, "It's not the time to make anymore!" I think that is what the market is saying.
The reality may be the choice between "inexpensive image sensors" and "not doing it.
